The cuisine of the world’s most Michelin-starred Chef welcomes Italy’s finest pizza Chef o the elegant garden IL CORTILE at ROMEO Roma

On 25th June, ROMEO Roma hosts an exclusive dinner event at the heart of its garden, IL CORTILE, where the dialogue between the Ducasse universe and Diego Vitagliano's contemporary vision arrives in Rome in a new spirit of exchange and creative cross-pollination.

The evening unfolds within the courtyard of the historic Palazzo Capponi, set inside ROMEO Roma Hotel, a poolside space overlooking archaeological excavations and gathered around centuries-old trees.

The protagonists of the evening are Iacopo Iualè, Executive Chef of Il Ristorante Alain Ducasse Roma, and Diego Vitagliano, one of the leading figures in contemporary pizza-making.

An encounter between haute cuisine and artisanal pizza that takes shape through new creations and signature dishes from both Chefs, including Pizza Provola e Pepe and Casarecce Cacio e Pepe, accompanied by live music and a quintessentially summer atmosphere.

The Chef:Iacopo Iualè

FROM TUSCANY TO THE MICHELIN STARS: THE JOURNEY OF IACOPO IUALÈ THROUGH PASSION AND HAUTE CUISINE. 

Originally from Cecina and born in 1993, Iacopo Iualè began his training at ALMA in Parma, the prestigious culinary school founded by Gualtiero Marchesi, where he honed his technique and gastronomic sensitivity. In 2019, he entered the world of Alain Ducasse, working at the three-Michelin-starred Le Louis XV in Monaco, and from 2022 continued at the two-Michelin-starred Le Meurice in Paris with Chef Amaury Bouhours.

Today, he is the Executive Chef of Il Ristorante Alain Ducasse Roma, located within the five-star luxury hotel ROMEO Roma. Alain Ducasse chose him as a key figure to lead the Roman brigade, recognizing his talent, international vision, and unwavering dedication to haute cuisine. A prestigious role that crowns a journey built on passion, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
